London Boudoir Photography: Jen’s Tea Party Inspired Boudoir Photo Shoot
On the blog today, a beautiful little London Boudoir Photography session with Jen!
Jen and I got together a while back to create some images for her new fashion blog, but when the shoot wrapped up I sweet talked her into a few boudoir images as well (the boys are so jealous of me).
I just couldn’t let such a great set go!
Jen is wearing a wrap which is very similar to our D&G Kimono Wrap. A piece like this is always one of my favourite things to work into a shoot, because you can use it in so many different ways. It’s nice to have something to do with your hands if you’re a bit nervous, or to disguise the bits you’re not in love with:)
Our set for the day was inspired by a fashionista tea party, so we had plenty of bubbly, cute cupcakes, magazines and lots of lollies and designer swag on hand.
Jen cut her hair the DAY BEFORE the shoot. Ballsy, but it obviously looks great.
Proof you don’t have to show a ton of skin to get the point across.
See? We have lots of fun around here!
A quick phone call…”More bubbly please. Bring the chocolate as well.”
Thanks for a great London Boudoir Photography Photo Shoot Jen! You’re sickeningly gorgeous as always!

Ready to book your own London Boudoir Photography Photo Shoot?
It’s my pleasure to share a very special London Boudoir Photography Session with you today. I share a lot of London Boudoir Photography Sessions that feature young, thin models, but I’m lucky enough to work with women of all shapes, sizes, and ages, and they are all stunning and beautiful, but often less keen on sharing images publicly.
The lovely Janice is a great example of our work with more mature clients. Elegant, beautiful, and full of life, she was such a pleasure to photograph. If I told you how old she really is, you would fall right off your chair.
We started off with some lovely detail images. These are great storytelling shots that make an album flow together nicely. Or, if you’re half exhibitionist and half shy, is something you can put on the wall without showing your face:)
Janice is wearing a cream lingerie set with a lavender wrap and statement necklace. I’ve backlit her in these images – it’s one of my favourite sets because it flatters all figures.
Oh Jan! So gorgeous with those big cat eyes!
Jan’s haircut suits her perfectly, yes? This wrap is great too – perfect for de-emphasizing upper arms if you’re so inclined. Not that Ms. J needs it!
Ms. Jan’s story is fascinating. After a proper career, she’s rediscovered her creative side as a mature model and is having much success and fun doing so. She’s got a website, which you can see here, as well as contracts with several agencies. She’s also an Ambassador of Mature Models for Models of Diversity, which we love.
A bit more colour with this look. This sort of look is a great option for the more mature woman who wants to keep clothed (and/or those of us keen to hide our tummies) because it’s sensual without being too revealing.
I looooove these images. I think they highlight what Jan is all about, and I couldn’t pick my favourites so I’m just showing you all of them!
Jan, you’re amazing. Thanks for your exceedingly great patience in waiting for me to get these finished up for you, and for a great London Boudoir Photography Session!

London Boudoir Photography: Annie’s Outdoor Boudoir Photo Shoot
The lovely Annie is back on the blog a second time today!
Professional plus size model Annie and I had an in-studio shoot months ago (Annie’s London Boudoir Photography Session) and we’ve been trying to schedule a second shoot ever since. With our crazy schedules it’s taken longer than we hoped, but we finally managed and it was worth the wait!
I love photographing outdoors in natural light, so with the help of fellow photographer Nicola Johnson, we all arranged to meet up at a stunning, secluded spot outside London…
Who wants to go Glamping with me here? The Only Way is Essex style!
Annie did her own makeup and hair for this shoot, and I think it looks great. Sometimes less is more.
Annie is wearing a vintage cream slip dress I brought along in these images. Lingerie is always great for a London Boudoir Photography session, but there is nothing wrong with covering up a bit more either!
For the second look Annie wore a white bodysuit and tan wrap. This luscious green patch was on Nicola’s shot list, and I think the contrasting colour is really nice.
A good pair of boots is a must have for any location shoot – for photographers and models. Bonus points if they are cute enough to make it into the final images.
These are some of my favourite images from the day. Such a beautiful backdrop, and a gorgeous model as well.
Annie makes it look so easy! I’d love to do more London Boudoir Photography sessions outdoors, so get in touch if you’re up for it!
For the last look, we brought out the sparkly hot pants. That’s right, I said sparkly hot pants.
This looks effortless, but I can assure you it was not. Annie almost died. Oookay, not really, but it was not a very glamourous dismount!
My favourite pose of the day!
Annie, you were fab as always! Thanks for a great session, your Blue Steel modelling skills, and trekking halfway across England with me! xx Stormy

Rebel & Romance is a contemporary London Boudoir Photography and Glamour Photography Studio located in East London.
Gorgeous. Six feet tall (not kidding). Has the most daring haircut I’ve seen this year.
I live vicariously through these women with brave hair, because despite all manner of pep talks, I seem to be physically unable to request anything other than long layers when I’m in the hairdresser’s chair.
On a second note, this post is too long. I’m fully aware, but I just could not narrow it down any further.
Alongside her other gigs, Miss E makes regular appearances for ASOS Marketplace. She also struts her extra long legs down the catwalk for various lingerie designers and fashion brands.
One last set of these! These two backdrops are swiftly becoming some of our favourites for London Boudoir Photography sessions.
I’ve been dying to do a “geek chic” themed London Boudoir Photography Session for ages. We hadn’t discussed it beforehand, so when Emma pulled this adorable jumper out of her bag I was knew the photographic gods had smiled on us. Let the hot nerdyness begin…
Long socks? Why not? If anyone has the gams to pull it off it’s this lady!
Our impromptu London Boudoir Photography “Geek Chic” look was completed with a pair of 3D Glasses, which we popped the eyepieces out of, and an old newspaper.
Vulnerability is beautiful, no?
Rolling around on the floor looking glam, as you do…
Suddenly, I remembered that I am a photographer (wha?!) and have a vintage camera.
If I could just look this good while photographing sessions….ah, that would be the day!
For our last set, Miss E put on something a bit more sultry.
A smoky eye completes the look.
I’m working on a new series of poses that show off our floor to ceiling windows. Miss E nails it, of course, but these poses work for us mere mortals as well. I’m looking for a curvy lady to prove it, so don’t be shy! If you’re a bootylicious babe and would like to help me show how beautiful women of all sizes and shapes are, please get in touch. Just leave a comment below, or drop me an email.
A bit of creative colouring to wrap things up!
Miss E, you’re amazing. Thanks for a great session!

London Boudoir Photography: Miss Bettina’s Boudoir
Photo Shoot
I’m not a huge fan of pin up. I know, I know…gasps heard worldwide. But, I do love a London Boudoir Photography Session with a vintage vibe about it, so I was thrilled when Miss Bettina walked through my door with her magnificently retro hair. We combined Miss B’s love of all things vintage with my style of London Boudoir Photography to create a set of pin-up inspired but contemporary feeling images. Enjoy!
Bettina is wearing a peachy-pink Agent Provocateur bodysuit for her first look. I love the contrast of her colorful tattoos with the softness and romantic feel of this lingerie and backlit set.
If you go gaga for pin up and vintage revival, you’ll want to know that fab Miss B is currently studying fashion and fashion styling, and is arranging a fashion show to support the Royal Brompton & Harefield Charitable fund. The show will feature the best of the best in 1940’s and 50’s reproduction clothing, as well as burlesque and cabaret acts, live music, and more. It’s going to be a blast I’m sure, so to get your tickets, visit The New Vintage Look event page, or buy direct here.
Oh yes. Sparkly shoes never fail us around here!
A bright red lip (We heart MAC’s colours this season) and matching nails aren’t a bad way to go either.
Oh Miss B, talented and beautiful….you’re a heartbreaker if I ever did see one!
This second look is probably my favourite of the day, that colour, those frills…
I’ve recently been playing with turning the lights down low for a more moody, mysterious look. What do you think? A keeper or no?
I had to post all of these, because Miss B worked s0 hard to perfect these poses, and they all look amazing. Well done lady!
To finish up, a few images creative images of Miss B wearing the new birdcage veil we’ve ordered for our London Boudoir Photography clients that are currently engaged and arranging a sneaky surprise session for their lucky partners.
Miss B, it was such a pleasure photographing you. Best of luck with your upcoming fashion show, but I’m sure you won’t need it;)

London Boudoir Photography: Miss E’s Boudoir Photo Shoot
Happy Valentine’s Day!
It’s such a polarising day isn’t it? Even though most of us know it was just invented by corporations to sell more cards and chocolates, it still seems to turn into such a big deal. You end up caring, even though you don’t care!
Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day today, or layering on the eyeliner in UnValentine’s Day tradition, you’ve got our love. Or un-love. Whichever you prefer!
In the festive spirit, I wanted to share something special with you today. Soooooo, I bring you the lovely Miss E’s Boudoir Photo Shoot, one of my favorites to date!
Miss E is a classically trained dancer and aspiring art agent, and I think the images we created during her Boudoir Photo Shoot reflect that aesthetic…
Are you not loooooving our new orchid backdrops?
E wore an cream Agent Provocateur playsuit for her first look, matched with stockings and our vintage pearls.
Oh those eyes!
We got lucky with a bit of sun in the studio for Miss E’s Boudoir Photo Shoot, which is always a treat.
I love how mysterious E looks in these. Maybe this is what happens when you grow up in a house full of artists?
I love the monochrome palette of this set. E wears a delicate lace and crystal vintage bodysuit and our Christian Dior snakeskin heels.
Oooh la la legs…
Hair in a messy side set chignon, like all the prettiest French girls do…
Miss E, you’re oh-so-stunning, and such a lovely woman as well. It was a pleasure to photography you. Thank you for a great boudoir photo shoot, and best of luck with things in New York!
Rebel & Romance London Boudoir Photography featured on the Photography 1827 Blog!
It must be London Boudoir Photography Press Week?
I’m delighted to announce we’ve been featured on the Photography 1827 Blog, a lovely wedding blog run by Hampshire based wedding photographer Kathryn Andrews.
Kathryn describes her blog as “all about exquisite, beautiful, contemporary, fine art and documentary style wedding photography and stylishly classy weddings which are timeless and elegant but have an understated air of cool about them. You can plan a sophisticated wedding and still add your own personal touches to the day, and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune either. Photography 1827 aims to regularly feature real weddings from high end brides, to style savvy brides who know how to cut costs.”
Lucky for us, she also features a bit of London Boudoir Photography too! (If you read my rant thoughts from The Lipstick Manifesto Blog Feature the other day, you know how I feel about wedding blogs and their boudoir photography dilemma!)
Our feature on the Photography 1827 blog can be found here:
London Boudoir Photography: Rebel & Romance Boudoir Photography has been featured on The Lipstick Manifesto today!
I’m thrilled to announce that Rebel & Romance Boudoir Photography has been featured on an exciting new Boudoir Photography Blog called The Lipstick Manifesto!
Wedding blogs have taken over the internet like a plague. While they are brilliant if you’re planning a wedding, unfortunately most of them rarely feature Boudoir Photography. (No matter how lovely/worthy/totally applicable to their target market it is!) It’s a tricky struggle – photographers submit beautiful shoots, wait for ages, and either don’t hear back at all, or get responses like “OMG! This is so beautiful!! Unfortunately I am not featuring boudoir photography at the present time.” Meanwhile, brides are requesting boudoir sessions all over the world, it’s obviously a growing trend, they personally love the work, etc.
Eh, maybe one day, right? Anyway, kudos to The Lipstick Manifesto for taking a stand. Hop on over and show them some love!
You can read a bit about me, my Napoleon Dynamite roots, the birth of Rebel & Romance Boudoir Photography, and see a few of my favorite images from recent shoots. There are also a few images from our shiny new studio, in case you haven’t seen it yet.

London Boudoir Photography: Cassie’s Halloween Pictures
What better way to celebrate than with some cool, fashion-inspired Halloween pictures? Boudoir style of course!
The lovely Miss Cassie and I got together last week for a Halloween-inspired Boudoir Photography session…
…pumpkins and all!
Our first Halloween pictures were on the theme of “little devil,” and I love how these turned out. If nothing else, it’s proof that Halloween pictures don’t have to be tacky or overly gruesome.
Cassie is wearing a tutu style skirt from our boudoir wardrobe as part of her “little devil” getup.
Next, we went for a bridal boudoir feel. I think these turned out a bit more masquerade ball than bridal, but Cassie still looks beautiful and mysterious!
Cassie is wearing an Oscar de la Renta bridal corset in these Halloween pictures, courtesy of our boudoir wardrobe.
Then an elvish/lady of the lake set…
Followed by a Lady Gaga inspired look!
All the masks we used in Cassie’s Halloween Boudoir Photography Session are courtesy of the lovely and talented Tanith at The Masque Boutique. Tanith is both designer and creator, and she’s got a great selection of products available.
If you’ve looking for something special, she also offers bespoke design services (for extremely reasonable rates), so it’s well worth a look around!
To finish up, a cheeky cat costume on the terrace.
Cassie, it was fab (as always) working with you! xxx!
Happy Halloween everyone! Now go create your own beautiful Halloween pictures tonight, and remember – no candy from strangers!
