PLUS SIZE & CURVY

"Discover the uprising within yourself. Shake off the doubt that other dare cloak around your resilient shoulders." - Noor Shirazie

Here are some of my favourite locations in London,  which offer a variety of different looks and styles. Please note all locations are subject to availability. Specific items like furniture and props change over time. If there's something you're particularly fond of, please let me know so I can check on it before we make a booking.

If you're a returning client, you may find a location you had your eye on is no longer listed. Unfortunately, several good spaces didn't survive Covid, but new ones are starting to pop up now:)

If you're after a particular vibe that you don't see represented, let's chat about it. Almost anything is possible, it's usually just a question of budget and timing. If you would be happy to allocate an additional location budget of £1400+, I can show you some really eye-catching places that are hireable via location agencies. If you're after something really special, it's also worth considering a destination shoot, as that is often more affordable (even after travel for everyone) than many London options. I'm also open to shooting at borrowed locations, so if you can beg/borrow/steal your way into a friend's beautiful home, a cool bar, a private pool, a rooftop garden, etc. that's an option too. I can usually tell from a few photos if a location is one I'd recommend or not.

Moody Luxe Hotel

East London, Shoreditch

The Warehouse

North London, Seven Sisters

This is a tried and true option, I've shot here dozens of times and keep coming back. It's a huge space with vintage wooden floors, tons of random props, amazing texture, plenty of natural light. It used to be pretty chilly in winter, but they've upgraded the heating and I'm happy to say we can shoot here year round now. It's still not toasty in the colder monts, but it's bareable lol! The "Ringmistress" featured shoot was done here.

Stratford Penthouse

East London, Stratford

This is a new favourite for me. It's an arty hotel in Stratford, right next to Westfield. The nicest room is a corner penthouse suite with two full walls of floor to ceiling windows which give great light,  a really lovely bathroom with a giant freestanding bathtub, and wood flooring. It's really spacious, with non-offensive, modern decor.

Portrait House

North London, Barnet area.

This is a brand new space for us. Our first set of shoots here are scheduled for later this month, so I'll have images to share soon. It's all the way up on the Northern Line and then a short cab or a bus to the studio. There is some on site parking and the street parking seems pretty good. There's also a cheap carpark with surveillance a few minutes away.

They have a good range of paper backdrops and much harder to find hand painted canvas available, plus wooden floors, a chesterfield sofa, an old piano, and great textured walls. It should be great space for looks that need a traditional studio, but it will also offer editorial location vibes which are much harder to find.

Little Lordship

Kensington Gardens

My favourite photographic location ever was a place called Lordship Park. It sadly no longer exists, but this is the new, smaller reincarnation. It has a few of the antique pieces from the original space, and similar beautiful light and expansive floors. It's run by the same people, who are lovely and very helpful. Two huge interconnecting rooms, and a big terrace overlooking the gardens. It's pricey compared to other options, but we could make it work with a few people booked in on the same day.  I haven't done shoots here yet, but I am 100% confident it will be great.  If your budget for location could stretch to 4 figures this would be an amazing space for your shoot.
