Great retouching is a no-brainer. It means happier clients, bigger sales, and an overall higher standard of work. The alternative is disappointing sales, offended clients, and a stressed out photographer burning the candle at both ends.

WHY ME?
My goal is to help you efficiently polish images so that your clients can’t WAIT to buy them. I aim to provide punctual, high quality retouching that is aspirational yet believable, adapted to your style, secure file transfer, total privacy, great communication, and no drama.
I’ve been a high end boudoir photographer for over a decade. I know boudoir retouching backwards and forwards. I’ve done quite a bit of freelance work under some of the best known boudoir retouchers too, so I may have actually helped you already!
I understand the pain points in this area. I know it can be really hard to find a great retoucher. I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve paid someone for retouching, recieved the files back, and then had to spend a bunch more time fixing them. I also know how stressful a mountain of editing can be. It’s important work, but if you don’t naturally like it, it makes you want to stab your eyes out lol! Luckily I do, but I know most people don’t.

Hi, I’m Stormy.
I grew up in America, spent a decade in London, and now I live in France with my husband, daughter (5), and son (2.5). We’re renovating a big property in the countryside, so you can often find me retouching boudoir images in the morning and doing something ridiculous like felling a tree in the afternoon.
My favourite way to retouch is with a massive coffee, a good audiobook, and my feet up.

HOW TO WORK WITH ME

I’ll ask you for a few sample images, and some information about what you need and want. Full service retouching rates start at $6.00USD/image; that covers pretty much everything most people need. If you need more or less, we can discuss an appropriate rate. Normal turnaround time is 10 business days. If you regularly need a quicker timeline, or have a one off rush job, both are possible; these are decided on a case by case basis.
Once you’re onboarded as a client, you can submit sets of images via a shared Drobox folder and pay invoices online. If you prefer another system, I’m open to it.
If my client load is full when you enquire, I’ll be happy to put you on the wait list.
A FEW EXAMPLES
The level of skin treatment, body changes, background cleanup, enhancement, etc. can be tailored to suit your style.
These images have had a little colour grading, but in most cases I suggest you let me handle the heavy lifting and keep the creative work for yourself. For most clients, sending RAW files is not necessary, I can work on smaller file types making transfer less cumbersome.
