London Boudoir Photography: Miss J’s Outdoor Boudoir Photo Shoot at Antelope Island

London Boudoir Photography: Miss J’s Outdoor Boudoir Photo Shoot at Antelope Island

London boudoir photography is fab, but sometimes you’ve got to get out into the wilderness and play a bit!

On a recent trip to America I had the chance to work with three stunning women on my first Rebel & Romance group session, which we held on the mysterious Antelope Island.

My final vixen of the day was Miss J, and I must say…I’m head over heels in love with her and the London boudoir photography style session we did…

….and her boudoir makeup artistry skills…

…and her fabulous, magical, mind-of-it’s-own hair!

Miss J was the master of a well-coordinated shoot wardrobe. Her first look, a tailored suit jacket over delicate lingerie, has always been one of my favorite options for a london boudoir photography session – and now it’s also a favorite for location shoots…it’s flattering on every body type, and so chic!

Are you sick of seeing these rocks yet?  We were sick of climbing on them in heels, I can tell you that! Not a lot of those in your average London boudoir photography session!

Lovely Miss J slipped into a lacy black number and sparkly shoes for her second look, and as the clouds came rolling in…

…the wind helped us create an absolutely stunning portrait.

To compliment her third lingerie look (an intricate blue corset and black pearls) we chose a patch of tall tall grass, and climbed on in!

As the sun dipped low on the horizon, we headed out to the water where Miss J banged out pose after pose like it was nothin’.

Finally, we added in this amazing Venetian mask. Miss J had picked it up on her way home from Italy this summer, and I think it is absolutely the perfect accessory for a boudoir photo shoot.

Miss J, oh Miss J….what can I say? Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for all your hard work, for your passion, and for truly inspiring me! May Italy always be close at hand, and London in your future plans. xx – Stormy

P.S. If you’re thinking that Miss J looks like someone famous, but you just can’t put your finger on it, I’ll help you out. It’s Brittany Murphy!!

Can’t get enough? Don’t forget to check out Missy and Jenna’s boudoir photo shoot at Antelope Island, and stay tuned for more London boudoir photography sessions!

Destination Boudoir Photography: Missy’s shoot in Salt Lake City

Missy and I met up at Antelope Island in SLC, Utah for an outdoor boudoir photography session as part of my first Boudoir Group Session in America last month.

We started out on the rocks…

…and I love how how bright Missy’s first lingerie look is against the muted tones of the sagebrush. Also, that bow necklace – so cute! And then there is Missy’s figure…

….which is SLAMMIN’!

Blue Steel.

Sometimes you have to be silly to be sexy. Like this moment, when I told Missy to “dance like the wiiiind!!” I’m sure she thought I’d lost my marbles, but she played along anyway and it totally worked – look how curvalicious she is in these!

Aww Missy – so pretty! I’d dance with you anytime.

And then….Miss Missy had a very Sports Illustrated moment in the water, and I was oh-so-proud!

Nothing better than sunset on the water…

Missy you were so fun to work with, and you’re gorgeous to boot! Thanks for a fantastic shoot!

Destination Boudoir: Jenna in Salt Lake City, Utah

Destination Boudoir: Jenna in Salt Lake City, Utah

Jenna was first up for the Rebel & Romance Boudoir Group Session, held on the strange and beautiful Antelope Island, in Salt Lake City, Utah a few weeks ago.

She was a phenomenon.

Usually the best boudoir pics are created at the end of a session, when everyone is more relaxed and used to the idea of running around in next to nothing. But every once in a while (like this london boudoir photography style session) we get firecrackers right out of the gate!

Hello Siren’s Song…fishermen beware!

Jenna, you’re oh-so-pretty with those baby blues!

The perfect image for a gigantic wall canvas, no?

Only a woman could make a giant rock look that comfortable and alluring!

Outfit change number one – a smoking hot pink corset!

Jenna’s London boudoir photography makeup look was created by Miss J, who also got in front of my lens for her very own boudoir photo shoot a bit later.

Jenna’s a rocker at heart, so the only appropriate way to finish her London boudoir photography style session was with her favorite band’s t-shirt (and fishnets of course).

Sun, sand, and the Black Veil Brides…a winning combo if you ask me!

Jenna! It was so good to see you again! You’re beautiful as ever, and I can’t wait until the next time I get to shoot your pretty alien face;) Best of luck in SLC – show ’em how it’s done, yeah?!

(Stay tuned for lovely Missy and Miss J’s Outdoor Boudoir Photo Shoot, which will be on the blog soon.)

Destination sessions: Devan in Boise, Idaho

Destination sessions: Devan in Boise, Idaho

If you haven’t stopped by the Rebel & Romance Facebook Page recently, then you might not know about my recent trip to America!

I had the chance to click away at beautiful boudoir babes in the great Mountain West for a few weeks last month, and it was fantastic. A very busy trip, but such a pleasure to meet so many wonderful, powerful, beautiful women! I’m back in London now and have been glued to my computer as I work on getting each boudoir photography session sorted, edited, and ready to fly home to it’s proud mamma. I’ve got loads to show you in the next few weeks, with boudoir sessions from several locations in my home state of Idaho, an armful of boudoir photography shoots we did at a mysterious place called Antelope Island in Utah, and a bunch of sessions from the Canary Wharf boudoir studio that still haven’t made it to the blog.

Whew! Better get to it then…

Today’s boudoir photo shoot features the lovely and impossibly beautiful Devan. Honestly, this girl is so stunning….

Devan was my first (official) Rebel & Romance Outdoor Boudoir Session! We chose the Brunea Sand Dunes, which are located just outside Boise, Idaho, as our stomping grounds for the evening.

Miss D did her own hair and makeup, and I think it looks fab!

Sunset is generally my favorite time for an outdoor or on-location photo shoot, and boudoir photography is no exception. The light was to die for.

As I was travelling, I wasn’t able to bring the Boudoir Wardrobe with me, but Devan did a great job pulling together a few different lingerie looks for her boudoir photo shoot. I love the casual, Abercrombie vibe – simple, subtle, sexy.

Sometimes you have to get a little bit dirty to create the prettiest images. Lucky me  – my boudoir babes are fearless in the face of weeds, blowing sand, and bugs!

Shake ‘ya tail feather! If I’m ever in a major motion picture, Devan has definitely got to be my bum double. Right?! Jealous…

Oh Devan – so in love with your face!

London is many great and amazing things, but it is not a particularly sunny place. It’s not really sunny at all. Ever. So you’ll have to excuse my gratuitous sun-flare here – just couldn’t help myself!

 Loving those heels!

Devan, thanks so much! It was great to meet you and work with you – you really are a showstopper! Best of luck this semester, and hopefully we’ll see each other again soon (under less windy circumstances as well)!

xx

London Boudoir Photography: Cassie’s boudoir photo shoot

London Boudoir Photography: Cassie’s boudoir photo shoot

Here are a few highlights from Cassie’s London Boudoir Photography shoot. It’s an experimental one but I love the overall vibe, and it’s so fun to try out new ideas and play around a little. One thing people often worry about are unflattering images, but the thing to remember is that it’s just a part of the process – there will be great ones, and there will be bad ones. The upside is that you’ll only ever see the very best (I’ll never show you anything I don’t think you’ll like!), so there’s not need to worry!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways…

Cassie is actually wearing a swimming suit here (they tend to works really well for boudoir photography!). That means she looks just like this lying on the beach, which is something for us all to be jealous about. Cassie is also wearing Juicy Couture heels from our boudoir wardrobe.

Look number two was a daring purple zebra print combo. I’m not sure where this bra and knicker set came from, but if you’ve fallen in love Victoria’s Secret definitely sells something similar. Red soled Christian Louboutin heels from our wardrobe.

Thirdly, a few tricky poses in a striped bra and knickers combo.

Blue steel! Cassie’s boudoir makeup looks were created by Amanda O’Shaughnessy (genius). Her hair was done by yours truly;)

Cassie, you were and are amazing! It was so great working with you and getting to know you better. Thanks for a great boudoir session darlin’!

P.S. – During the shoot, I kept telling Cassie she looked like Cate Blanchett because look….

She totally does!
